Hey everyone. I got through to the final interview stage of the compliance graduate explorer program however I haven't heard back from Barclays and it has been around 4 or 5 weeks now. I was wondering whether anybody can give me any insight as to what this means for me. Any help or advice would be hugely appreciated.

Many of us are in this situation. From reading the thread I guess it’s a wait game

I did my AC for Tech Analyst on 19 January, and Barclays just ghosted me ever since - so unprofessional. I would probably recommend applying to other firms... I received an offer from PwC last week and will send it back signed on Monday. Barclay's recruiters can suck my toes

Exact same but I'm Northampton.

I got a phone call offer last week 4 days after my AC. Has anybody else been in a similar situation and know what the next steps are? Risk Northampton

Same I was told the contract would be emailed in a week but it’s still not been

Contracts take a very long time for some reason, I’ve been waiting about 2 months, if you haven’t don’t ID verification after the day they’d said you’d get the contract send them an email and it should hurry up the ID verification at the very least

But I’d be prepared to wait a while

That’s a good a good observation, it just shows that this country is in a state of turmoil, with strikes and the working from home people are just not getting things done

the other grad schemes are no where near this bad. The fact this forum has so many pages is ridiculous

I mean , Lloyds is slow , hsbc are slow ect , but at least they reply to emails , Barclays is very bad

RSM also ghosting, and KPMG acting weird too, amongst others. At this point, I'm not sure, it might be because I'm an international student. I did some research, and apparently, only 7% of the total were hired by UK employers in 2022. Honestly, this country is a joke after Brexit.
