Yep really tempted.

Hi everyone,
congrats all who have received an offer.
I recently had an offer call on March 23rd, but I haven't received any email for ID check after that. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to follow up with them.

I'm not sure tbh I want to see how many times we go in a week? If it's like twice I might consider commuting, I live about 1hr 15 away so commuting twice a week wouldn't be too bad (I think lol)

Hi! I recently got an offer for the grad aspiring developer programme (Northampton). I know it’s been talked about a bit on here but does anyone have confirmation regarding whether it’s fully in office or hybrid/remote? Anyone on other schemes that has info about theirs would be helpful as well as I’m assuming it’s similar

I'm not so sure either, but good for you that you're British. I'm already looking for a place to rent as there is a month between the end of my uni accommodation and the start date at Barclays, so I can't wait for the first week of work to see how it goes. The thing is, from Manchester city centre, it's like 40 mins to Knutsford and then another 10 mins to Radbroke. That's obviously by train and then by bus, considering I'm not planning to buy a car. However, the rents in Knutsford appear to be pretty much the same compared to Manchester, which is hilarious. It's then a question if commuting 2 hours a day is acceptable. I read on Glassdoor that Barclays at least operates a bus from Knutsford to Radbroke, intended for the employees.

What rents are you looking at, if you don't mind me asking? Would you say 1200-1,500 PCM, including council tax etc., is too much?

My timeline is surprisingly quick lol, for Tech Analyst @ Knutsford:

AC - 8th March
OC - 22nd March
ID (confirm British citizen) - 27th
ID (upload) - 27th
Contract - 30th

Wow man that’s mental! Congrats!

Hi i'm tempted mainly because i'm currently 3h10 away from Knutsford and my current tenancy ends in July, I had a quick glance at the flat options up there and i'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'd be able to get the cheapest options out there so i'd say 900-1200pcm, 1500 is a bit too pricy for me. the cheaper the better it is for me.

Hoping to receive a contract soon to confirm, however, I did talk to one of the people from the same programme. She mentioned that it’ll be 1-2 days in the office and the rest will be WFH. I will confirm as soon as I read my contract!

The contract only mentions your average working hours per week. There is nothing in regards to their work from home policies
