i've heard theres a high % of lay off's after u hit the age of 30+ in FO, where they just hire in someone whose cheaper and younger
was wondering what are the prospects of these people? will they jus head into MO/BO or w/e
ive heard quite a few go on to teach economics/maths/business as a teacher?..

Think of what you want to do when you are financially secure for the rest of your life. There is an ex trader who lectures at my university in finance after making his millions. I highly doubt anyone would go into BO from FO.

There's a guy in his mid 30s on my Urban Regeneration masters course who got sick and tired of investment banking. He's set up financially, so I guess he's now looking to contribute something productive to society
