Parent & child student, maintenance loan

In a single parent household, where parent starts second year of uni this Sep 2022 and the child will start uni in 2023, will both be able to receive the maintenance loan? Or will it be somehow distributed? Child will be living with the parent while at uni.
As I have found this online:

Other students in your household
Different rules apply if you have a brother, sister or parent who is also getting student finance. We’ll work out your household contribution before it’s shared between you and the other students in your family. In normal circumstances, it’ll be shared out equally. However, in certain circumstances it may be shared differently to make sure that the amount of contribution reflects whose income has been included in the income assessment.
If your circumstances change during your course, (for example, if one of your parents loses their job), we’ll assess the household contribution again.

Could someone pls interpret this for us?

Hello,

You will both be eligible to apply for the Maintenance Loan.

Thanks, Lynsey.
