A school leaver who is 15years old

So I’m born at the end of august and I’m looking for a summer job.
Am I allowed to be a kitchen porter? Or work in a kitchen for a small business?
And if I get injured at work will i not be insured? As I don’t have my NI number :frown:

How old do you have to be to work in a kitchen UK.
16 Age restriction.

Subject to local by-laws, children aged 14 and above can do 'light work' that is not harmful to their safety, health and development nor to attendance at school or participation in work experience. Generally, due to licensing restrictions children under 16 tend to work in kitchens, not front of house.

Suggest you perhaps apply for a job in boots the chemist as they employ people from the age of 15 legally.
Look at there own website and then do a online profile and apply for Jobs with them. Ideal time to try.
