There is so much dross on the internet that it is a shame, because generally there is an underlying thought which says that if something is on the internet it isn't as good as something from another media.
Thankfully that attitude is changing, and the quality of the web can be measured by the quality of the content, so I was wondering which websites do everyone else hold in high esteem ?

I'ld like to offer this one up, www.ted.com . Guests are given about 18 minutes to talk on their chosen topics, everyone from politicians to scientists and musicians take part.
Talks are indexed by themes, speakers, most watched, etc.
