You don’t need to calculate the magnitudes of the delta charges at all.

The δ+ element is the less electronegative one, as it has had its electrons in the covalent bonds pulled away from it.

The δ- element is the more electronegative one, as it has attracted the shared pairs of electrons closer to itself

thanks, i just got confused of a multiple choice question but ill look over it again!
