Quick Question Help

Could someone please explain to me why root16/4 is the same as root 4/2 and is not just root 4? I can't get my head round it.

I suppose OP means 164=42\frac{\sqrt{16}}{4}=\frac{\sqrt{4}}{2}

and it does because.

Assuming rnd is correct, OP, that becomes (4/4)=(2/2). 1 does equal 1.

Yeh thanks. It was a stupid question to be honest. And i know i should of put it in latex...
