Covering letter for small clothing store
Hey everyone.
I wish to apply for a sales assistant position in a range of small clothing stores (not high street). They do not advertise these positions online and you'd have to go in store to find out if they are hiring. How do I go about structuring a covering letter for these types of stores?
I.e. how can I say how I will be suitable for a position at their store? There isn't much information on their websites in regards to their current market position.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I am writing to you in application for the position of sales assistant at BLAH. I am currently a student studying for my BLAH and am available to work on BLAHs, BLAHs and BLAHs after 10am. I have extensive retail experience working for BLAH and would relish the opportunity to work in your store. I enclose my CV for your consideration and look forward to your response,
