Use this (u might need to make an account I think (it’s free anyway)) to find a uni. It ranks all the unis in the world : (u can also filter it to just UK unis and based on whatever subject)

Hello!
I hope this message finds you well.

I'm currently a third-year BSc in Business Management, Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Bayes Business School. I am passionate about marketing and am happy to hear that you are considering studying Business and Marketing.

Another good university in this area is Bayes Business School, the business school of City, University of London. According to the latest ranking in The Complete University Guide 2023, The Business with Marketing course was ranked in 1st place for research quality in the UK and 3rd place for entry standards. I can assure you that theory is perfectly balanced with practice and that you will definitely develop your transferable skills while studying at our university.

You can find all the necessary information about our programmes by accessing this link.

Please don't hesitate to ask me other questions.

Best wishes,

Thank you very much! I was considering Bayes Business School. Unfortunately I do not meet the GCSE math requirement so I eliminated City as an option.

Hi,

I'm a final year Business student at the University of Bath and I've loved my time studying here so I'd be happy to help give some advice on which unis you could be looking at for Business.

I have loved living in Bath and going to Bath uni, and the course itself is really great. You get given a lot of choice with what modules you want to take, so you can specialise in an area you find most interesting. For example, I have taken a lot of Marketing modules as these are the ones I enjoy the most, but you can also do finance or operations modules if these are something you are better at. The flexibility is so helpful at helping you find what your strengths/weaknesses are.

The undergraduate management courses at Bath all rank really highly in university league tables, and the graduate prospects are really good. The BSc Business course I do has 2, 6-month placements (working in industry as part of our degree) which is a really unique structure compared to management courses elsewhere. This has given me some valuable work experience to put on my CV, making me more employable in the future as I have both my degree knowledge and industry knowledge to take into a new job role.

Bath is also such a lovely place to live, as the city is fairly small there is a really nice, friendly feel about Bath and you are always bumping into familiar faces. As the city is quite student populated there are lots of good student deals on in the bars, restaurants in the city. There are some good clubs, and other things to do such as mini golf, the cinema, and lots of amazing famous sites to see.

I hope this helps and please feel free to ask anymore questions you might have about Bath or the School of Management!

Best of luck,
Kayley

Hi there!

Why not study both Business and Marketing! I am a current student at Pearson Business School and my course is Business Management with Marketing. I love this course as for the first year, everyone learns the same topics around the principles of business. This was great as it provided me with an overview of knowledge of the industry as a whole. Then, in second and third year, the modules are more tailored to marketing topics. For example, my favourite subject last term was digital and social marketing as I got to unleash my creativity and create my own digital and social media marketing campaign! Moreover, most of my essays have been based on industry examples. This means that they are as close to real-life scenarios as possible. This makes essay writing a lot more interesting as you are writing about and applying knowledge to real and current issues in the world today.

Away from my studies, Pearson Business School has allowed me to put my knowledge to the test by helping me get two internships (in marketing and communications) through their guaranteed internship scheme. These are both fantastic opportunities as not only am I learning valuable skills, they are both great experiences to put on my CV to increase my employability. This explains why Pearson is in the top 20 institutions for graduate employability. Moreover, through the study abroad scheme, I am also going to Brazil in January to study abroad for a few weeks!

Not only this, we are based in Holborn in London (near Covent Garden). This means that the number of social places to go out with friends after class is endless! One of my favourite places is Pizza Union, as it is located opposite our campus and sells affordable pizza!
Therefore, I would highly recommend this course if you are looking to do marketing as you'll study modern marketing modules by industry-experience tutors who have a wealth of marketing experience that they incorporate into their lectures and seminars.

Here is a link for more information about the course: https://www.pearsoncollegelondon.ac....marketing.html

I hope this has been helpful and I wish you all the best with your decision.

Best wishes, Mia
