    Hey All,

I was wondering whether our university's reputation will play any part in academic screening or preferences of the admissions staff at medical schools.

Also I have an unrelated question and that is what is the best way to prepare for interviews (like which are the best books and sites; I read that BBC news was good =))

    I shouldn't think so.

BBC Health is good for current events

And I think this book is good for interviews, etc.

In a perfect world, it wouldn't. In the real world, I think it probably does. UCL is a well regarded university anyway so I shouldn't think you have anything to worry about.

Some universities do rank first degree uni in their criteria for invite to interview for grad entry. Oxford is definitely one of them. You need a stronger application to make up the points if you're not at a uni on their list...
