I'm going into Uni in September and I'm quite stressed about the exams. If you study everything your lecturer talks about you should pass right?

Depends on the subject. For humanities, I think you'll be expected to do "reading around the subject" and lectures are more intended to provide a broad overview. In a subject like maths, often you are expected to know and understand everything the professor lectures and nothing more. (though doing additional exercises will help you preparing for the exam)

IMO It's doing the 'homework' associated with the seminars/tutorial and doing past papers that'll get you through uni exams.
