Is this normal?

So I decided to stop following my bad habits and start running after a year. After I finished running (& jogging) for 23 mins in the morning, I started spitting a lot and kinda vomited in my bathroom's sink. I felt awful but after I showered, I felt so much better and glad that I ran. Then I repeated 2 more times (20-30 mins) on some other days and again, I spat a lot and still vomited but it was less as compared to my first run. Is this normal? When will this stop? I just drank a glass of water, so I ran on an empty stomach basically. I'm eating healthy now, I stopped eating outside foods few days ago.
I'm not completely overweight, I have some body fats around my waist. I am looking to join some clubs and hit the gym soon to improve my fitness and mental wellbeing overall...Kinda excited to see my mini transformation in few months!!

it's not normal to vomit after running!

make sure you're hydrating properly throughout the day, every day. have a bit of water before you run, but not too much (or too close to starting) that it's sloshing around (e.g. see https://www.bustle.com/p/5-signs-youre-hydrated-enough-you-can-finally-stop-stressing-13258056)

probably a good idea to eat something before running! a small snack at least 30 mins before, such a banana, dried fruit, or bread/bagel etc. with peanut butter and honey/jam/banana (there are lots of snack ideas online; you want some decent carbohydrates, not too much fibre) – will also help you feel more energised when running! longer runs (and other exercise) will need a slightly bigger snack/meal beforehand, and potentially something during the workout.

how much are you pushing yourself? how fast are you going, particularly towards the end?
maybe try going a little easier, or doing a short, very slow jog/walk (such as to the end of the street and back (assuming you live on a shortish street; if not try 50-100m out then back) just after you finish running, so you're not stopping moving suddenly

if you keep vomiting, best see a GP

good luck
