Reply 23

Oh.. I work in Russell & Bromley and we class 40 as a 7.

All our shoe converters show 40 and 2/3 for 7.

I would say the average female shoe size is a 5 but as I haven't got any stats to back this up apart from the fact that it is the first size to be depleted in the sales, I won't push the point!

I am 5' 7" and wear a size 5. I can get away with a 4 in *some* trainer brands. I thought shorter girls had smaller feet by default but it seems I was wrong.

Same here! And people always say my feet look really small  I think my big toe is what pushes my size up quite a bit!

I'm 5"4 and a size 5.5/6... depends on the pair of shoes!

Reply 30

I'm 5'3"ish - size 4 1/2.

the shoes I buy are normally that size, but depending on the shoes I can sometimes fit into a size 4 or a size 5. so yeah... 4 1/2.

I know - though she didn't actually grow at all since then. I met her a few weeks ago, and she's tall still, but not amazingly so anymore - she just did all her growing before puberty, apparently.

Ohh. Maybe she had some kind of hormone problem that sorted itself out?

Who is 9 or above?!

Me :p: :yep:

OP, at least it's not a problem to find shoes in size 7. I see nice shoes EVERYWHERE... but of course, they usually stop at 8. :frown: typical.

Size 4, but I'm a bit on the little side anyway.

I know. So 41 is closer to a 7. A lot of our walking boots and climbing shoes have 3 sizes on and 40 and 2/3rds is commonly known as a 7.

I fit ski boots as well. Our measurers all have Euro, Mondo, US and EU on.

My friends an 8 and she gets really nice shoes! Try New Look, or After 8.
