Hi, I currently hold an offer in astrophysics from UCL, but I have always wanted to study other science disciplines as well. Therefore I am thinking about maybe transferring to natural science? (if I get the grade)
If I take natsci, I will want to follow the astrophysics + earth science combination as I want to do planetary science in the future. However, despite the natsci course being broad and diverse, it doesn't go as far into one particular discipline as the single science course does. Apparently, the astrophysics course allows you to study more of just ' pure physics' ( which I also very like) .
And does the natsci course have a heavier workload than astro?
Is there anyone that had faced the same dilemma? Would you mind sharing your final decision and thoughts about it? Or If you had just taken astro/natsci, what are your thoughts on them, any pros and cons?
Thank you.
