Unfortunately you have four years. The balance will be tricky.
Yes. Added to the fact that exams at the endd of each year actually count for something. Hmm.

Actually when you think about it, the ideal graph will be rather like that of mod(xcosx), so I'm off to a flying start

Well, not modxcosx, let me think. I swear we had an examples paper with a graph like this. I'll get back to you.

5. I don't believe I've spent nearly 20 minutes trying to find a graph that best describes the ideal performance over a degree. And I haven't quite succeeded. The basic form is that of y=x/5-xcos(x)/10, but I need to spend some time with it to make sure that x is at a maximum at 1, 2, 3 and 4, and that f(1) = 1 (i.e. first).
6. Bugger, my simultaneous equations are inconsistent.

What's more surprising is your publicly owning it.
8. I've dropped the x coefficient, as it makes the algebra too complicated.
9. I should probably sleep Term has destroyed my hard-won sleep hygeine
10. Arrrgh. I can fulfill some of the criteria but not all of it

Equation of the form y=x-cosx

When x=0, 0<y<1
When x=1, y=1=local max
When x=2, y=local max
When x=3, y=local max
When x=4, y=local max

Where the graph never dips below zero
11. Ah. I have just realised something.

Hours until I leave cambridge: 12

Packing done: 10%

Sleep required: > 7 hours

Need to go into town? Check
Need to consume food? Check

It could be tight. I'm going to bed.

14. I have no network connectivity in my room. Boo. And I'm going to be here for another 10 days...
15. Bogs?

Zhen that's crazy! They offer you nothing?

Some applicant emailed me, and when I opened my inbox I got such a fright - I thought I'd been warned

EDIT: Too late:P
17. Aha *is informed*

Off to Mill road Christmas market now

This wasn't one with a subject of "urgent input required" or some such? I got one too

Just woken up. Leaving college in 3.75 hours. Have not packed.

No - a disabled student, so they wouldn't have contacted you I think. I hope

If my sister was there then she would be, which would prompt me to pack, unfortunately it's only my mum picking me up, and I sense that she will be less pleased

I as quite excited to get a PM, I hadn't got one in months. I replied and redirected them to the Peterhouse thread
