Unfortunately you have four years. The balance will be tricky.
Yes. Added to the fact that exams at the endd of each year actually count for something. Hmm.

Actually when you think about it, the ideal graph will be rather like that of mod(xcosx), so I'm off to a flying start

Well, not modxcosx, let me think. I swear we had an examples paper with a graph like this. I'll get back to you.

I don't believe I've spent nearly 20 minutes trying to find a graph that best describes the ideal performance over a degree. And I haven't quite succeeded. The basic form is that of y=x/5-xcos(x)/10, but I need to spend some time with it to make sure that x is at a maximum at 1, 2, 3 and 4, and that f(1) = 1 (i.e. first).

What's more surprising is your publicly owning it.

I've dropped the x coefficient, as it makes the algebra too complicated.

Arrrgh. I can fulfill some of the criteria but not all of it

    Equation of the form y=x-cosx

    When x=0, 0<y<1
    When x=1, y=1=local max
    When x=2, y=local max
    When x=3, y=local max
    When x=4, y=local max

Where the graph never dips below zero

Ah. I have just realised something.

Hours until I leave cambridge: 12

    Packing done: 10%

    Sleep required: > 7 hours

Need to go into town? Check
    Need to consume food? Check

It could be tight. I'm going to bed.

If my sister was there then she would be, which would prompt me to pack, unfortunately it's only my mum picking me up, and I sense that she will be less pleased
