Yes! I had a half-day today, & just slept all afternoon - what's so tiring about walking around college, though?! It just makes no sense...

Well I think the cold must have tired the body up and sapped alot of energy. The porter's lodge was drafty and I've been freezing all day.
Cold = not a problem

:proud:

It is down at it's lowest setting I believe.

I'll be in Cambridge some time between 12 and 4 Craggy on Thursday. Will you be around?

I wish I could come to epitome's session in the evening, but sadly I have to escort my sister back.

I don't know.
Probably best to text me on the day.

I'm shepherding till 12:45 and have plans for the afternoon. Would you like to meet in the plodge just a bit before 1, and go for lunch for an hour?

Find a way, sir, find a way - sessions out of term are much better. And it's my B'day. (Now I'm just rubbing in the guilt. :p:)

You should, however, continue to seriously think about standing for a committee position. And then decide that you're going to. Yes. We might have been talking about you a bit last night...*grins* Plotty plotty plot plot.

I've decided that shepherding AND working in a day is too much. Mainly because I shepherded from 1 - 7 today and was knackered afterwards, and freezing cold. And tomorrow I'm doing 9 - 6. I'll probably try fit gym in tomorrow night, but won't want to focus on anything.

I feel the same. I hoped I'd get so much done this week. :frown: Also, it's kind of depressing helping all these applicants when I know only a fraction are going to get in.

Grr, want to do some erging over the holiday, but gym membership is extortionate, especially considering I'll be at cambridge for nearly half the year. :frown:

you could by one if you had a spare £900 lying around :yep:
although if I had a spare £900 I would by something much better

be cool like me and buy one!

look on ebay and you'll see they retain their value amazingly well. So whether you buy one first or second hand, it'll work out extremely cheap in the long run. You just have to get over the inital up-front cost...

note i'm talking about Concept2's here. you can buy a crappy magnetic thing for like £50, but i get the impression they're only useful for fat housewives.

Buy your own gym equipment, and put it in a room with a TV. It's much easier to exercising while watching DVDs. :yep:
Home's not that bad... but Cambridge is better! It's definitely needed at the end of every term though otherwise I'd self-destruct...

Advantages of home: sleep, computer games, free time, free food / laundry

Disadvantages of home: cold, our shower is pants, gets boring after a while, always come back from uni before friends do

BTW this thread is moving far, far too fast for me to follow it lately.

Argh, YES!
I have to go outside to get to the showers at Cam, but jees mine at home is like standing outside in the rain in comparison!
we decorated our tree last night! check out the photos on the blog, including the duck at the top of the tree! we'll also have a generator as of next weekend so we'll be able to keep our batteries charged up more easily and thusly be online more!

Well my sister's interview lasts until 1600, and my Mum wants her back by about 1900 so that she can stop worrying about her, so no, probably not :hmpf:

I will of course stand for the committee, but what position I have no idea. NOT President, Social Secretary or Tour Secretary. Craggy will tell you about my love of travelling and my hatred of organising it for other people. This year I'll probably end up going for General Member I think.

Oh, and :afraid: :p:

EDIT: Glad to hear it Amy, and the boat looks horrible and christmassy now :hmmm: /scrooge

Has anyone else just completely crashed since they came home? I've watched daytime TV and slept... I'm trying to drag myself out of it with a trip to the dentist... and then I'm going to the pub later to meet up with some friends. I feel like I need to cleanse my self from 8 weeks of drinking/eating though, swear I've put on the "freshers' fourteen" ... and urgh, I'm like a spotty teenager! Think I need to get fresh air... cycling withdrawl :frown:

Yes, I've not done much but sleep, catch up on TV, drive a bit, exercise a bit, read a bit. But I feel like I need this rest so it's all good.
