Burgers were (as always) just about inedible. There was also some pork which looked revolting. Fun times...

But you've passivized the second one of those, so that's not a fair comparison - his is in the accusative, so you can tell loads of stuff has changed round.[/geekery]

Well, yeah. That was kind of the point :p: I thought that the one worked for the pasisve, and the other for the active.

Your longer explanation is clearer, but that's what I was getting at.

How am I supposed to remember that the volume of a cone is (1/3)*pi*h*r^2? :hmpf:

Volume of a cone is GCSE maths though isn't it?

Yes it does, providing they haven't sold out which they seem to often.

Dunno Rymans and WHS sell it, obviously, although they probably won't be open.

Exactly, hence me not remembering it :p: I haven't used it since and it wasn't in our formula book :hmpf:

I have Morris in fifteen minutes, so I came back home :p:

I don't believe I'm saying this, but I think that my workload is bearable. I don't think I'm going to fall behind until at least week 3

Could use that any pyramidal shape has a volume of third base area times perpendicular height, and if you forget that always the option of working out from first principles by integration, though that might be a bit overkill :p:

Yeah, I couldn't remember that either and was just contemplating working it out by integration (volume of rotation if I remember rightly) when I decided to look it up on the internet instead :p:

emergancy averted, I found some stashed away in my room.

It wasn't a proper crisis anyway. I just *wanted* to get my application essays printed off tonight rather than having to wait for the morning :o:

Now to write an essay for tomorrow afternoon. I've read 1 article thus far. And I wanna do most of the essay tonight so I don't have a crazy day tomorrow.

    :work:
