I'd like to meet someone round Clare as well. Maybe the entrance to Memorial Court? -

In my experience, Pembroke probably has the best, followed by King's.I've eaten normal hall there twice and formal twice too, and it was average. It was more removed from Peterhouse by price than by quality
And the Pembroke brunch everyone is crazy about is rather unappetizing to someone who hates cooked breakfast -

Tomorrow's FOOD plan:
what's everyone bringing? Or are we getting takeaway? If it's snacky stuff, I shall bring some sparkling wine (!!!!) and cake.

I was hoping for proper food at the party
Someone suggested Wagamama takeaway, which sounds much better than feeling sick after an evening of cookies, chocolate, sausage rolls, mini quiche things and crisps

Tomorrow: 9-1 lectures and stuff. 1.30, rowing. This means I have a justifiable reason not to go to hall, but instead buy a sandwich

We ccould probably get a takeaway if enough people want one. Depends who is planning to come. -

cookies > proper food tbfYou've clearly not tried Wagamamas
I don't mind snacks, as long as they're not entirely made up of sugar, fat and carbohydratesWhich they always are! And you never feel satisfied afterwards, just mildly sick and craving real food.
Cookies etc in small doses with tea or something is quite nice, but you never tend to eat only one thing with tea at snack parties.
