My friend is curious about wether or not to take A level maths. He wants to go into accounting but doesn’t know how difficult or how time consuming the maths would be. Is it very useful for accounting? Is it easy? If you have or know someone who has taken it, what are your thoughts towards A level maths? Any tips on what subjects to take for accounting

Maths is vital for Accounting at top Unis.
However at many middle range Unis a good GCSE grade may be all you need.
Just be aware that if you don't like Maths then Accounting as a career is not a sensible option.
