Those of you who applied to Oxford or Cambridge for Medicine, what made you choose one over the other?

Edit: not in terms of entry requirements, more to do with the course/city/application ratio/socialising...

Oxford and Cambridge have different admission criteria for med...

Oxford required pretty much perfect GCSEs, Cambridge has no official GCSE requirements.

Oxford requires "only" Biology and Chemistry and has no third subject requirement, Cambridge requires Biology, Chemistry and Maths or Physics.

Oxford's standard A-Level offer is A*AA, Cambridge is A*A*A.

For international students, Oxford's competition ratio is ridiculous - something approaching 100 applicants to 1 place so that may put some people off.

There are also difference in terms of their affiliated hospitals.
