:thumbsup: TSR Summer Challenge! :thumbsup:



This summer, :tsr: is setting a challenge to become the best thread creator on the site. Between 1st July and 31st August, your task is to create threads in any of the forums listed in the image below. :ottid:



Once you have created a thread, post the link in this thread to enter the competition. :banana2: Each week of the competition, one Volunteer Team judge from each section of the site will look at the entries and award points for the best quality threads. :yeah:

So the best thread in the Chat section that week would get 5 points, the second best 4 points. This is repeated for Life & Style, Entertainment and Debate & Current Affairs. Each week, more points are given out - and by the end of August, the points will be totalled up. The users with the most points at the end will receive rep prizes of up to 2022 rep! :woo:

You can create and enter as many threads as you wish. :yep: But remember that there are no prizes for quantity of threads made. :naughty: Only for their quality. That doesn't mean a thread has to be detailed though - sometimes the simplest ideas are the best ones. However, if you are found to be spamming the forums with threads, posting threads in the wrong place or spamming your own threads with lots of replies, you will be disqualified. :hand:

Full terms and conditions
1. All users are eligible to enter this competition, except for those on the TSR Volunteering Programme.
2. Forums listed above are eligible for this project, no others. All forums on the site can be accessed here.
3. Threads entered into this competition must be posted in this thread. Any threads which are not linked in this thread will not be counted.
4. Judges for this competition will come from the TSR Volunteer Team pertaining to each section involved in this competition: Chat, Life & Style, Entertainment, Debate & Current Affairs. Judges may change each week and will not be publicised.
5. Spamming forums will be categorised as creating multiple threads so as to alter the community atmosphere in a forum. Spamming a thread will be categorised as repeatedly posting in a forum consistently without enabling the development of a conversation. The more replies 1 thread gets does not necessarily mean it has a chance of doing better.
6. All threads created for this project should conform to the site's terms and conditions.
7. Threads started in Debate & Current Affairs forums should ideally follow this advice article where relevant (sometimes it may not be).
8. These terms and conditions may be updated at a later date and may be edited, clarified or extended as necessary. It is the responsibility of all users to keep themselves abreast of the terms of this competition.
9. A total prize of 2022 rep points will be awarded to the winner of the competition at the end of August.
10. Points will be allocated by each judge, each week, on a 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 scale based on quality of thread created. Each judge may have their own specific criteria behind their decision. Points are available in each section, so Chat, Entertainment, L&S and D&CA will each have 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 points to give each week. Meaning a maximum of 20 points can be earned in a week.
11. For this competition, a week starts and ends on a Friday. 26th-31st August will also be classed as 1 week.
