The question is asking to find the angle made with the positive x axis. Wouldn’t it be the one i drew. The worked out answer shows a different angle. Could be somebody plz explain that to me. I’ll attach screenshots and the pictures. Thanks.

6i+8j would make an angle atan(4/3) above the x-axis
6i-8j would make an angle atan(4/3) below the x-axis.

You started from the wrong position
1. Start from the origin. So you go 6 units to the right and 8 units down right?
So its at the positive x-axis. The one you drew is in the negative x-axis which is not correct
2. Then you measure the angle it makes to the positive x-axis which is shown in the solutions too(Cause it touches the positive x-axis even if its below the x-axis)
