I’m looking to study either motorsport or mechanical engineering at uni. I’m just wondering what is a typical engineering timetable like at uni. Is it 3 days a week? All 5 days? Different for different weeks what’s it like?

You’ll have a core set of lectures every week probably 12 hours of lectures, 6 hours of tutorials. You’ll then also have labs, seminars, computer sessions, presentations & bits which will be maybe 4hours average per week but will vary every week. So say 22hrs contact time per week then you’ll need to invest more time to complete tutorial/problem sheets/coursework/lab reports...

Probably scattered on 4 or 5 days of the week. Obviously every university has variation but id say my description is what is very typical.
