I’ve just graduated and gotten my results, I got a 2:1
I failed one essay module because i couldn’t submit on time (worth 15 credits) but i was told i’ll be able to retake it over summer
It got condoned and i was credited for it but what does this mean for my final grade? Would it had been better to have retaken it and gotten the 40% pass, what does the condonation mean when it comes to the marks i got?

It means you failed to achieve a passing mark but were nonetheless awarded the credits. A resit usually results in broadly the same outcome.
