Er, they are indeed honoured and cared for - that's what money from the poppy appeal goes towards...[/QUOTE]
It said 'by the state.'
They started the war, they should be providing for their people who so bravely went into battle.
I personally believe that the Poppy appeal money shouldn't need to go to vetrans, the government should have put in adequate plans when they sent them to war for their wellbeing after it.
The RBL are awesome, don't get me wrong, they just shouldn't be needed, as they are such a lifeline for some people who so bravely went to war.
If that doesn't make sense, don't neg/flame me, ask questions, and I'll try to explain myself better. Also, these wars happened so people like us could state our opinions without fear of persecution, (well mostly) right?
If not, sorry, I haven't taken History for a long time

Every single student in my entire school wears poppies for remembrance day. As do I. As does almost everyone I know. For at the end of the day the only thing any of us can do for the long gone heroes, in rest in Heaven, is spare a thought and a minute of silence.

I've had one for the last week or so, but I tend to have to buy about five because I always lose them off my coat.
