Im in first year, and for one of my modules i got 35%. does that mean i dont have to resit the module
I think you do. Less than 40% is usually a fail.

Compensation only usually applies to optional course units and it is usually department-specific as to whether it is offered at all. You need to check your course handbook or mither smene in the know in your department.

Hi there,

I hope you're well :smile: My advice would be to contact your module leader / seminar leader - as it's very different for different courses. As well, it's best to hear from them directly than listen to what your course friends think (as they might have incorrect information), so if you can it may be best to send them an email to discuss what your options are from here.
