# Factorising recap watch

1. Hey guys, i havent factorised in a long time so just need somebody to show me how to do these two types of question just to refresh my memory. Thanks in advance.

and

2. Can you remember the difference of two squares?
3. Well the first is

(3n+1)(3n-1)

(Difference of 2 squares)

The second will be

step one: n(n^2-9)
Step two: n(n-3)(n+3)

I believe.. All difference of two squares..

Very new to this, cannot do the powers and stuff, sorry!
4. 9n^2 - 1 = 9n^2 + 3n - 3n - 1
n^3 - 9n = n(n^2 - 9)
