I want to apply without SME and just by filling the application form. I question whether its legit and if anyone has applied or been here before.

yeah apply through the university directly
The university replied to me saying the only way to get in is through SME for UK students.

since new vision is now listed in the GMC's list of qualification they do NOT accept. I think the answer is quite clear
