It might seem early- but i need some advice about potential accommodation for when i go to uni in 09.

Basicly i've just been wondering which accommodation i should go into... I mean obviously i really want to move into halls, but im unsure wether to go catering or self-catering? Share a room or have my own? En suite or no?

I know it differs for each university, but just an overall opinion of anyones would be helpful thanks.

    Well...

What does the uni you're applying for offer?
There don't seem to be many shared rooms about now.

Do you want to cook for yourself?
Some catered halls don't give you food over the weekend, some self catered places give you the option of using the canteen if you put money on a card

How much extra are you willing to pay for your own bathroom?
I voted for nothing. Unleses you're really funny about sharing facilities with people you don't know it's a lot of needless expense. Ensuite's often don't get cleaned by cleaners, shared bathrooms do.

I think I'm probably going to opt for single, and catered (unless i wanted to poison myself... i can't even work an oven without something going wrong), without an en suite.

I'm open to other suggestions though if anyone has any... ty .

I'd do anything to be in catered right now, to be honest.
Wouldn't bother paying the extra for en suite though.
