    I only stream from Nico Nico Douga when I'm using somebody else's computer or wish to have a cheeky sample whilst at work. :laughing:

    Other than that, no way, HD is the only way forward. :p:

    I now struggle to watch anything on the laptop and have to connect it to the tv downstairs :o: I used to watch .rmvb files after I moved from streaming but I mostly watch big mkv or some avi now

    AVI FTL. 'Tis an ancient format, doesn't support newer codecs such as H.264/AVC/Vorbis/AAC natively. Furthermore, no chapter support. :p:

    MKV is awesome, but I'll settle for AVI if there's nothing else. I've also downloaded MP4/OGM files for some series, which I've got no complaints about. But RM/RMVB just suck.
