Great, glad that it's sorted out now, one less thing to stress about. Good luck with your application!

Thank you!
Does anyone know if I can directly translate my Spanish Baccalaureate grades to A-Levels? This is for the questions asking about if I have Chemistry A-level, and what my best three A-levels were. Thanks!

If you don't have a-levels then select the option that says you have different qualifications instead of A-levels
Does anyone know who the second referee can be? I applied in September and only got sent the link today. I'll only have time to sort a character reference before the deadline, is this ok? I've tried emailing but I can't find any specifics anywhere :frown:

Oxford specify they are ideally after an academic reference, so i assumed itvwas the same for Cambridge and I went with a reference from a lecturer who was able to discuss and highlight academic strengths.

If you can't get an academic reference then I am sure that getting a professional reference will suffice as long as they can say that you have the skills and traits to study medicine and be a doctor.

Thanks for the response! That's so frustrating, I can't get an employment reference as they would fire me if they knew I was considering leaving D: It's completely my fault for not thinking about this earlier!!

Are you in contact with any old lecturers from uni? If not email the course leader, they keep transcripts of your academic performance so that's how my lecturer was able to talk about specifics of my performance even though I graduated in 2014.

If you have a character reference then that might also be adequate for Cambridge, especially as they haven't specified what the reference should be about.

As long as you have a reference that can discuss your qualities that make you suited to medicine I wouldn't panic.
Good idea!! Thanks for your help!!

Hello all, I’m hoping someone can help with regards to the Supplementary Application Form if possible. I submitted my UCAS Application 10 days ago and unfortunately still haven’t had the Supplementary Application Form sent through. I contacted the 4 colleges offering the A101 course and all have responded saying I will receive the form by Monday 17th Oct at the latest. I am on a string of 5 night shifts as of the 17th and really hoping to get the form done asap. Anyone who has been sent the form, please would you be able to list what is on there so I can get it prepared before hand? I have already completed the learning log document.
Thank you in advance!

You will need your degree transcript, you will need contact details for another reference, if you have any qualification other than A-levels you will need a transcript or certificate for that. Do you have any contextual details you want them to know about. Other than that it is simple questions.
Thank you so much! Really appreciate it. Best of luck with your application!

Hi everyone, I am planning on substituting one of my A100 choices for Cambridge A101 but it is giving me the following options for the location: 7, 9, I, L, W. One is obviously an open application and I'm assuming L is Lucy Cavendish and W is Wolfson, but what about 7, 9 and I? I can't seem to find these college codes online anywhere so I'm not sure what each one refers to! If anyone could help that'd be great. Thank you!
Hi! 7 is Hughes Hall, 9 is open application, L is Lucy Cavendish, I is St Edmund's, and W is Wolfson - found this on the university website pages for the colleges (e.g. for Hughes Hall https://www.undergraduate.study.cam.ac.uk/colleges/hughes-hall). Hope that helps and good luck with your application :-)
Hi everyone! In terms of the Healthcare Experience log Form, are we meant to include only experiences gained strictly in healthcare settings, or could I also include other experiences that have informed my commitment to a career in medicine, such as internships in research labs? Also, how much did you write/reflect under each bullet point?I‘m very stressed out about this form as I can’t find much guidance on how to complete it but I feel that it’s quite important😖
anyone else still have not received the link to the form?

If you think you gained relevant skills and insight then add it.
I received my link some time ago after emailing Wolfson's College (I did open application). That was 1 week after I sent my application. Hope this helps.

Also, I'm in a bit of a pickle with my second reference. Basically, I had arranged my second reference with a lot of time in the bank (to avoid any problems) BUT due to unexpected personal reasons my referee will not be able to submit his reference until the 1st of November (6 days before the deadline).

Does anyone know if Cambridge waits until the 7th of November to process applications or do they send out interviews on a rolling basis? In the latter case, should I search for another referee and inform Cambridge? Or will they not like this? Thank you in advance for the help.
@mainstream_pp
From last year's thread, I think they send out/release interviews on a specific date and it was December.
I don't think they would have an issue even if the reference is sent exactly on the 7th, so long as it's within the deadline they have set.
