C2 Binomial Question Watch

Could anyone give me some hints as to how to do this question please?

The first three terms in the expansion , in ascending powers of x, of  (1+px)^n , are 1-18x+36p^2x^2. Given that n is a positive integer, find the value of n and the value of p.

There aren't any examples of this kind of question in my text book. Thanks in advance.
(This is a question from Set A: Practice Paper 2 and it's worth 7 marks.)
