    Fun session at the uni gym today; monstrous squatting from George.

    EDIT: Just dawned on me I'm about a month off having trained for a year, now.

    I've gone from (5RMs):

    Squats 70KG -> 147.5KG (and deeper)
    Bench 55KG -> 100KG
    Deadlift 85KG -> 170KG
    Press 35KG -> 75KG

    Can't remember what I started on anything else.

    Awesome session from all of us today tbh :yy: Russ's squatting was swole even though the relatively low weights on the bar make him sad (24 is a lot of reps). Didn't go out tonight and Pauline is going back to France tomorrow so I can stop being a feelingsy little ***** and seriously mash up some weights :borat:

    Trained on nothing but a bottle of chocolate Frijj today, my pre-workout nutrition needs work.

    Dieting. Very very low carbs at the mo, and it's KILLING ME. Carbs are my life force. Still, will be carrying on until I'm happy, maybe another 2 and a half weeks. I've also started upping volume on my training for a while, should be interesting, though a lack of carbs has made the past week verrrry difficult. I'm definitely lacking the energy to make a lot of the higher volume.

    Easing into it this week, so far it's looked like:

    Was talking to this enormous guy at the gym on Wednesday, he weighs 26 stone.



    Awesome tattoos, too. That's a pic of him outside Muscle Inc. Apparently he squatted 420KG in competition when he was younger (with ephedrine - but without a suit!). Good to have some monsters around, my gym has seen an influx of sub-16-year-olds recently. Though we do now have a 190KG axle lift, a log (wooden one, don't know how much it weighs) and a few enormous tyres to flip. Good stuff.
