Normally I find the maths in biology easy but I am stuck on the 1 mark question, its a second attachment, the first being the introduction to the question. Could some run through it with me?

Look at the picture (Fig 1)
The percentage you want is the percentage of more dotted stuff (ie the red blood culls + reticulocytes)

So use a ruler to measure the length of this part and divide by the length of the entire tube and times 100.
For the first tube you should get 45% (check to see if this works), then the second tube gives you the answer.
