What factors affect your mental health most right now? Summer 2022 edition

Throughout this pandemic, we've been asking what factors have been affecting your mental health most.

You can see the results of the previous polls here: April 2020, April 2021 and July 2021

A lot has changed since we first started asking this question, and your responses here always teach us a lot about the challenges you're facing and where support might be needed. We share these results with lots of organisations who are positions to support you (eg. DfE, UCAS, universities, mental health charities) so they can make their decisions with a real picture of what it's like being a student right now.

So, how's your mental health?

Is covid still a factor affecting your wellbeing, or are there other pressures?

Do you feel there's enough support available to support young people struggling with their mental health right now?

If you're heading to a new school, college or uni next year, do you know enough about how to get support with your mental health?

If you'd like some support during this time, there's help available at Samaritans, Student Space and Papyrus.

I'm doing great, but I am well aware that my current job is giving me zero income. That worries me as I wanted to be able to move out after uni, and that certainly won't happen!

It's good that you're doing great despite your worries.

Take care of yourself and this goes for everyone. Make time for yourself to do things that you enjoy and love doing and please do try to reach out if you need to as there are people out there that can understand and help: family, friends, charities etc. Your mental health comes first so please do look after yourself.

Best wishes.

Thank you! I am doing generally great, but I can't help but remember the fact!

Are we allowed to vote for more than one thing on the poll? :colondollar:Just coz exposure to negative news and lack of support system are big ones and not sure how to pick between them :ninja:

Yes totally! Sometimes the widget in the sidebar glitches out with multiple options, but you should be able to do it at the top of the thread here if that's not working.

I'm surprised money worries feature so low, although considering most students//TSR users are still living with their parents and don't really have them per-se.
