"Switching to natwest for convenience" sounds like you're switching because there's a branch of NatWest near you, but not a Santander branch. These days I think you need to assume that any branch you happen to be near is likely to be closed in the next year or so.

(There used to be a branch of my primary bank within walking distance of where I work. It closed earlier this year. Now my nearest branch is over 50 miles away. But in reality I have very little need to ever visit a bank branch.)

Hi, I was wondering if you did switch from santander to natwest? And did the railcard get cancelled, did it get taken back anything like that?
