A primary school teacher but once I got past primary school age, I realised I don't really like kids at all. I also wanted to be an astronaut and a writer

Not really sure what I want to do now

When I was ikkle I wanted to be the only things I knew existed: a grocer, a nurse, a doctor, a dentist, a police officer, or a firefighter, or a princessy ballerina :p:

Then when I got older I wanted to be a pretentious arteest.

Now I'm going to try and become a teacher although it's not what I "want" really. I still want to be a pretentious **** :p:

how many people actually want to do that "to help people"?

i think they would prefer the money
The money's pretty **** for the first 20 years considering the amount of work you put in, and all the studying.

I always wanted to be a journalist because I was good at English, or a Lawyer for the money :p:

I'd still like to write, but I'm not necessarily persuing it as a career. It's too hard to be an author, all the good ideas have been taken now

I always did and still want to be a military pilot. Unfortunately I'm short sighted so unless things change that won't happen

I used to want to be a primary school teacher when I was young, but as I got older I realised I don't really like children that much. Then when I "discovered" the subject of Psychology I realised a career in the field would be good, but now I'm at uni - **** knows.

I've only ever wanted to be a primary school teacher.
Went from ICT → Music → Science specialism though.
Next year I'm applying for Primary Ed (Science) at Durham.
