Doc martens for safety work boots?

I’ve been asked to get safety boots before I work. I have doc martens but they’re not very tough on the toe area , do you think they would be ok?

Thanks
If they have a steel toe cap they'll be fine, if they don't then they're not safety shoes and you need to buy steel toe capped boots.
If you need steel toe caps, you need them.
PPE is a legal obligation for your employer.
They must provide it.
However they will buy the cheapest which won’t be comfy.
Sure, if you want broken toes...
Nah, Unless it is specifically branded as a Safety/Steel Shoe Dr Martens almost certainly don't meet the requirements, they just aren't what they used to be.
Go to an army surplus store and get the British army boots. Steel toecapped, comfortable, and affordable.
