I spend around £100 on my mum. She deserves a hell of a lot more, though!

Normally spend about £50 on each parent. But im spending a couple of hundred on Mum this year because I nearly lost her and I want to let her know how much I love her and how glad I am she's still here.

It's been increasing gradually over the past 3 years...up to £30 each last year. This year I'm skint though so it'll be more like £5 each...

Reply 4

I only spend £20 or so on mine...

Reply 5

Usually i spend £20-30 on each of them, and i get them one really nice thing and then something lesser, like i might get my mum some nice earings and then some chocolates.

Reply 6

About £20 on each. As I do for each of my sisters aswell.

damn you lot making me feel bad.
i try to aim for like 10-15 bob each.

Depends what they want and whether I have the money. Dad's present is about £25 and mum's is £9.

Reply 10

About £5 - £10. Would be each.

Not because I don't want to spend more, because I don't have it to spend.

Reply 11

I'll be spending £30 each on them this year.

about a tenner each? i sound really tight by the standards of this thread! though i dont really know what to buy them apart from stuff like toiletries, accessories, books and dvds, and those generally dont cost that much...

As much as I can afford. Usually I spend a lot more on my Mum than Dad. Probably more than usual this year because she has had a tough year so about £100. She only wants a photo in a frame (bless!) but she'll get a lot more!
I spend as much as I can afford. Usually that's around £20 or so each.

This year we're broke - it will probably be around £10 each.

I'd love to spend more on them, but I'm afraid the majority of my Christmas spending goes on my kids. But that's normal I think

Between £10 and £20 each. My Dad's a pain to buy for though. :frown:

Reply 16

I usually spend about £30 on mum and £10 on dad. You can tell which one I prefer...

I also have 3 sisters and spend about £15 on each of them.

I spend about £20 each on my parents and my brother and my sister, but it's my brothers birthday a couple of days later, so I'm spending £40 on him and giving him a combined present. I'll spend about a tenner on my two grandparents too, that's as much as I can afford though, and I'll probably be skint for quite some time afterwards. Sucks 'cause I turn 18 as well, no going out for me >.<

Reply 18

I budget at ~£50 for each of them. I don't have any brothers of sisters and only a few other family members to buy for, so it seems a fair amount.

Reply 19

About £20 each..thats normally all i can afford. Although this year i might splash out a bit and get my mum some GHD mini's. Don't know about my dad though... Maybe 30 pairs of sock?
