# If... watch

1. If, out your AS level, your marks are out of 300,at A2 are they out of 600?

and if that is the case, (using 80/60/40/etc% for marks) does:

580 marks = A
460 = B
340 = C

etc?
2. No, 300.

A2 wouldn't be double as the A2 and AS year are (as far as I'm aware) split equally to make up the A-level.
3. A2 is also out of 300, but AS and A2 are added together to make 600. Therefore, 480/600 is an A... I think.
4. Woah!! 580/600 for grade A would be virtually IMPOSSIBLE.

This is the structure:

For A2: It is basically DOUBLE. So for Grade A it would be 480/600, For Grade B 420/600 etc etc.

Hope it helps.
5. Now I am very confused....

Someone stop my brain fizzing before it blows up. :/
6. Here goes AGAIN:

AS Level

Grade U: Anyting less than 120/300

For A2 Level

Grade U: Anything less than 240/600

*You see the trend. The difference between each grade at AS Level is 30 because the whole AS is out of 300. But for A2, the difference between each grade is 60, as the whole A2 is out of 600.

Hope this helps!!
7. There should be a table on the back of your results sheets.

A-level, not A2. Which is where I think the confusion comes from.
9. Right, I wanted to know the whole thing!
