and if that is the case, (using 80/60/40/etc% for marks) does:
580 marks = A
460 = B
340 = C
A2 wouldn't be double as the A2 and AS year are (as far as I'm aware) split equally to make up the A-level.
This is the structure:
AS Level: For Grade A (240/300), Grade B (210/300), For Grade C (180/300), For Grade D (150/300), For Grade E (120/300) and anthing lower is Grade U.
For A2: It is basically DOUBLE. So for Grade A it would be 480/600, For Grade B 420/600 etc etc.
Hope it helps.
Someone stop my brain fizzing before it blows up. :/
Grade A: 240/300
Grade B: 210/300
Grade C: 180/300
Grade D: 150/300
Grade E: 120/300
Grade U: Anyting less than 120/300
For A2 Level
Grade A: 480/600
Grade B: 420/600
Grade C: 360/600
Grade D: 300/600
Grade E: 240/600
Grade U: Anything less than 240/600
*You see the trend. The difference between each grade at AS Level is 30 because the whole AS is out of 300. But for A2, the difference between each grade is 60, as the whole A2 is out of 600.
Hope this helps!!
