well, considering that the business school is one of the top in the country, they'd accept 24 points..

getting good points in IB is not all. getting into uninversity is more important.
i.e. getting good score in IB does not necessarily mean (guarantee) that you will get accepted to good uni.
    oh well.

The IB is an absolutely JOKE.

My bf did drama and was predicted a 7. He put in soooo much work you would not believe. Then, his coursework and stuff got LOST IN THE POST. So he got a 5 in the end - the same as a girl that was realllly crap and predicted a 4. The IB is rubbish, they don't know what they're on about, and it's completely impossible to get high points.

Also, Unis don't even know what the hell it is either and so offer ridiculously high points that **** on A-levels, making it piss-easy for A-level people to get in to Unis, leaving IB people as failures.

Plus, PE isn't on the syllabus. Which is lame.

meh, at least you guys had the opportunity to actually FINISH the program and TAKE the exams! I couldn't even do that! I failed the IB...well not really failed but my school didn't let me take the internal assessments anymore because i was doing badly in Maths

I've been seriously depressed ever since. IB was the best high school education I could possibly get in my area (the most decent one, at least) and the "standard" program I study now just sucks. (I do not have access to A-levels, AP, or anything like that...just IB...). The normal classes are VERY subpar, super slow-paced and are a big fat waste of time. I'll never get into the schools I wish to get admission in as a result (IB screwed up my grades and I don't even have the diploma to make it look a little better?), and probably not even be able to get out of this ******** of a country I live in. :/

I was trying so hard. Sometimes, all this **** makes me wanna kill myself. fml

edit: woah, sorry about the bump, I just noticed the dates. I don't really want to delete this but if necessary, I will >_>
