Hello all,

Can someone briefly explain hookes law to me, the teacher missed this section out and i need to find an expression of force with displacement.

Hookes law states force is proportional to extension providing the material is still stretching elastically

F=K/\L (/\=delta/change in) for a spring
E = 1/2F/\L for energy stored in a spring
Spring is a pretty broad term btw
