How are you feeling about your SQA results?

I haven’t seen one for this year yet. What are you hoping to get this year.
P.S. Results day is on the 9th of August 😱

Everyone will receive results by post, and if you've signed up to mySQA, you should receive a text or email from SQA on or just after 8am on results day.

This is the place for all things results day, so whether you just want to chat to some other students, have some questions about results day, or you need any help or advice about your results & what to do next, TSR is here to help :biggrin:

S5 - 5A

S6 - Hoping for BBBC. More than likely it will be CCCD, or worse!

Just didn't do what was needed this year - had an unconditional uni offer and was enjoying being 17 after the last couple of years and just couldn't get motivated to study - I am going to pay for it on results day! :frown:

s4 - 7A's
s5 - 5A's
s6 - hoping for AAB in my advanced highers (eng, history, maths) and an A in higher politics. i need AAB at AH for my oxford offer so i'm kiiinda bricking it at the moment, i really struggled in maths this year and didn't realise how out of my depth i was until pretty late in the year so i spent the weeks before the exam studying 24/7 in a mad frenzy. i really hope it paid off...

am really worried, i was predicted 4As and a B. Are predicted grades took into account when giving results tho ??

hoping for AA at AH and AA at Higher but I need AA (AH) and A (H) to meet my Oxford offer (fingers crossed that I get it!!)

I'm hoping for 5As, but I don't think it'll happen, since I flunked my Higher History paper 1 and Maths aint my strong suit. Still confident though, I think I'll still get very good results and my predicted grades were good, so I could appeal I guess if they are truly bad. I think as with everyone it will depend a lot on grade boundaries, I doubt they'd make the error of a bad news cycle by creating a big drop.

hoping for AACD at higher (English, Computing, Physics, Maths) and B at N5 Chemistry. Next year I'll doing AH Computing and Higher Geography, History and Chemistry

Good luck everyone! Feeling pretty confident myself but who knows what'll happen. I think I did well enough to get an A in AH Maths and H Modern Studies, but I'm not sure that I did well enough to get A in Higher Music. Luckily I have an unconditional for my university (Aberdeen) so the pressure is off for me personally, but I'd still like to do well.
I got 6As at N5, 4A at Higher and currently waiting on results for 1 AH and 2 more Highers that I did this year. Hopefully everyone gets the results they want and if applicable, into the universities that they want!
