I've been reading through the chapter, but there is only 1 example and it is a very different scenario to that of the question im trying to do, so i just need a few pointers,

Im told the mean 80 , asnd then told the mean on a random sample.
Told to assume a normal dist, and given the SD
Using a 1% significance level i have to test whether the mean is below 80.

The example i have seen is for a two tail test for a difference, and there isn't anything on a one-tail test for a decrease, so im not too sure on the method.

Do i find a critical value like the difference test, and so
P(sample mean<=critical value) = 1%, like in the difference test? It doesnt look right to me?
