I'm a female, searching for shoes which are decent for walking in around the city, on roads, and also look quite good...

    - will be walking 7 miles ish several times a week in them
    - must be comfortable and durable (waterproof, too)
    - must be reasonably wide at the front, although I have skinny ankles
    - must look good.

    Female, size 6 ish.

Any ideas? I'm open to boots or non-boots. Preferably nothing which looks too much like hiking boots (already have them and certainly don't want them for this purpose!)

Budget isn't too much of an issue so long as they're not really expensive. I'd probably go up to around £150 if they would last. Of course, cheaper shoes would be good :p:

Keds are amazing, really comfy and look cool too. Basically trainers but they look way better. Here's the link:

    edit:

Oops sorry thats the American site (which has a far wider range, and if cheaper if you convert your money so if you know someone in the States who would ship it on that would be your best bet), here's the UK one:

Flyflots are good too. Some of their styles are appalling but the odd one is good, especially the boots. You can buy them online and try them on at home.
