Sorry if there's a more appropriate thread already in existance for this, but I was hoping someone on here might be able to help me.
Basically, I read in a textbook that it was Trotsky who advised the movement of the Russian capital from Petrograd to Moscow during the Russian civil war but I can't find the book anymore and I can't really remember the name.
Anyway, I'd really appreciate it if someone could verify this.
