I need a new job. I need also need some inspiration. Can anyone think of any fun/cool jobs that someone with only A Level qualifications could do? Please do not mention jobs like retail as that is the worst job.

    Thanks guys!

What about journalism? It isn't necessarily something you need a degree for. My best friend left school at 18 to work as a reporter for a regional newspaper (not one of the rubbish free ones you get, a proper one!) having done some freelancing for them beforehand, they were really impressed by her and offered her a job. She got in completely off her own back, no contacts/mummy and daddy pulling strings etc. Apparently this was reasonably common in that line of work, because journalism degrees are relatively new and untested, and some old-school journalists still think you learn as much by training 'on the job'.
    Or, fire fighting/police service?
Or go and work in one of those really cool bakery shops that make really fancy cakes. You could be one of the people doing demonstration of how to make sugar-paste santa figurines..! (this is my plan for if/when the stress of finals exams gets too much...)
