    Chemisty's pretty easy imo....
    I dunno what your leturer will be like but mine spent some time consolidating gcse stuff to check where we were, so to speak and then sort of let us get on with things at our own pace.

    I would take chemistry over philosophy if you're willing to put the work in. Chemistry will be a lot harder than philosophy, but taking chem will hugely keep your options open. It is required for a lot of uni courses, and you don't want to regret not taking it. Besides, you can always switch courses in the first couple of weeks of college if you decide you really hate chemistry.
