I got rejected as I was outside of the UK for more than 6 months in the last 3 years. It is really frustrating and disappointing after waiting so long. Although they reassured me last week, now they won't proceed with my application.

Oh no! :frown: So sorry. What will happen now from here? If you don’t mind me asking.

Just checked now, I submitted it on the 11/09. It says my application status is still in progress.

In due time hopefully, think I’ll give them a call or try and contact them as soon as possible. The wait time is absolutely ridiculous.

I know! I was also thinking of ringing them to see how long it’ll be - not sure if they’ll be able to tell us though!?

Hey still nothing, I’m assuming my NSV clearance hasn’t moved because they said they would email when the clearance was done and I haven’t got anything yet. This wait time is quite weird, I wonder why one office got a start date and the other didn’t.

The email came from the NSVS people themselves then I just received another one not too long ago from HO recruitment saying my pre employment checks had been completed satisfactorily and I should wait for a start date or further info from the recruitment team. What office did you apply to again?
